It Sucks!
I was vacuuming the house on Saturday night, copping a nose full of dust laden air in the process. In turn I went through a bunch of tissues, and not for any enjoyable reason.
I decided i’d had enough. I did some research on the ‘net, and decided I liked the look of the Dyson vacuum cleaners.
Sunday morning I got up (late), and headed out to my local The Good Guys store.
The Dyson DC-19 Turbine
The DC19 had a hefty ticket price of $799 – and that was on special. The sales girl ran through her well-versed marketing spiel, so I waited until she was done. Then I bluffed my way through that I could get it for $200 less ‘down the road’, and if they could match it, i’d buy it there and then. So she ran away to ask her supervisor, and came back with a surprised look on her face – he said they would match it.
All paid for, I headed toward the door. On my way out I noticed some woman buying one as well – for the list price of $799. I chuckled.
Once I got it home and unwrapped, I connected it all together. Then I vacuumed.
It’s rather scary to see how much i’d been missing with my old vacuum cleaner, but there it was. A full barrell.
My new Dyson sucks, but in a good way. Neh?
